PROGRAM 1 Doi Tung, Golden Triangle, Chiang Saen, Wat Rong Khun, Doi Mae Salong, Hill Tribes Village

First Day : Doi Tung - Mae Sai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Saen

  Start to Doi Tung, Royal Palace, Flower Garden, and History Hall, have lunch at Srinuan Restaurant, visit Mae Sai where you can buy souvenirs from China and Myanmar at reasonable prices, go to the Golden Triangle where you can see Laos, Myanmar and Thailand border, warship Phra Chao Lan Teu, travel to Chiang Saen to look at the beautiful ancient art at Wat Phrathat Chedi Luang and return to the hotel in downtown Chiang Rai.
 
 

Second Day : Wat Rong Khun – Doi Mae Salong – Long Neck Karen tribe

.

Pick up from the hotel to visit Wat Rong Khun where a beautiful temple of Thailand’s premier artist Chaloemchai Khositphiphat is, continue to Doi Mae Salong for visiting the Chinese tea plantation.
Have lunch at the restaurant in Doi Mae Salong. You will see Akha, Yao and Long Neck Karen tribes and return to the airport.

PROGRAM 2 Wat Rong Khun, Doi Tung, Doi Mae Salong, Golden Triangle, Boat Trip on Mae Khong River

First Day : Chiang Saen – Golden Triangle –Boat Trip on Mae Khong River
09.00 Pick up from Chiang Rai Airport to Chiang Saen to visit Chiang Saen Museum. Wat Phrathat Chedi Luang is an ancient relic of Chiang Saen. Golden Triangle joins three borders: Thai, Laos and Myanmar. In the past, it was a world famous place for selling and producing drug.
12.00 Lunch
  
  Cruise on a long boat with a long shafted outboard motor, look at the scenery over the Golden Triangle, disembark on Don Sao Island where you will see the Laotian’s living style and buy local products, go to the Hall of Opium where you will learn all about the history of opium in the Golden Triangle and warship Pha Ngao Buddha and Phrathat Pha Ngao for your prosperity.

Second Day : Doi Tung – Mae Sai

Breakfast at the hotel
Travel to Doi Tung, Royal Palace that is the working place of the Princess Mother. It is a lovely cross between Lanna art and Swiss chalet. Then, you will appreciate variety of flowers in Mae Fah Luang Park.

You can buy the products at reasonable prices at Mae Sai Market.

Third Day : Wat Rong Khun – Doi Mae Salong – Long Neck Kareang
09.00 Breakfast
Go to Wat Rong Khun. You can see the very graceful and delicate chapel of Thailand's premier artist Chaloemchai Khositphiphat, visit to Wat Phra Kaew.
12.00 Lunch
 
17.00 Go to Doi Mae Salong where appreciate many flowers in the winter, see the living of General Tuan's descendant and the Tomb of General Tuan. He is the great warlord of Chinese 93 rd Division that emigrated from China. You can see the beautiful view from the peak on Doi Mae Salong and look at the tea plantation. You can taste good tea and buy local products such as tealeaves, vegetables, fruits, etc, go the Hill Tribes Village and Hot Spring (Huai Hin Fon) which you will appreciate with beautiful nature scenery.
